It's great that you are that happy with it....but in my very strong opinion NOTHING beats the look of the Hurst Comp Plus shifter in a Mustang. The thing looks like it belonged in the car from day one. And I really love how it performs.
I fashioned my Hurst shifter with an optional black knob and have gotten quite a few compliments on it.
But it's always good that you love whatever it is you decided to purchase....this is not a competition about who has the "best" mods. If ya love what ya got, that's all that matters
Stoner, did you do the install yourself, if so, ground or lift, and was it fairly simple (easy)?
Did you use the stock bushings or upgraded to the better ones?
Yes, by myself. About 2 hours taking my time and re-reading directions since I was one of the 1st few people to do the install. Reused stock bushings. And used a lift.

Fuzzy, your chrome hurst looks great, expecially with the black ball.
The MGW also has the extra handle (20.00 extra) for the hurst ball threads but not in the chrome finish / logo like yours.
I wanna keep my stock ball that is the polished alum, (believe you had / have the same) which matches the rest of my interior appoinments. (besides the stocker ball new cost 100.00).
If and when I do order the shifter within the next month, I will mostly also buy the hurst extra handle for 20.00 just in case i wanna switch. Remember, I also have a V6 (same color) so I can change items with it, like if I got a new hood. "two mods for the price of one"
