Since it was about i say mid 60 degrees out i guess, I decided to take my baby out of the garage and give her a bath. I found out that I actually do have a mustang under all that dirt. All that dirt and salt from the winter here in PA was disgusting. It took me about an hour atleast just to do the wheels. I still want to take them off in the next week or two and get all the brake dust off on the inside of the wheels. I did the interior, all vacummed out and conditioned the leather seats. I love the smell and feel of the leather after its just conditioned. The red seats looks almost as good as new. And then on the outside I used the meguiars new NXT generation soap and wow, that stuff is amazing. Amazing shine with it. I used to use the meguiars gold class soap but this is way better. I want to see it in the next 2 weeks after I rewash her, detail her, and wax her with with the NXY generation wax, be even better then she is now. Has anyone used the NXT generation wax? Opinions on it? I used to use meguairs speed detailer and spray wax and want to see if the new stuff is better or not.

To answer your question, the Meguire's NXT wax is probably the best I've ever used. It gives a very deep shine to the car. You'll like it.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
My dad got them for me as a present 2 years ago shortly after we ordered the car and before I actually had the car lol. I put them on the first night I pulled the car in the driveway. I believe he got them at the local walmart. When I see him tomorrow, I'll ask if he still has the box and if he does I'll give you the website asap.

Two questions for ya. Nice ride BTW.
1) What are you using for that mirror finish shine.
2) Those door panel inlays look great where did you get those? I've been looking for some.

Thanks man. I usually use meguiars gold class soap and the mr. clean autodry washing kit to wash her. 1. spray the car down first with water. 2. get the major dirt off with the meguairs soap. 3. rinse soap off. 4. use the mr. clean soap in the hose sprayer to spray the car down with soap. 5. rinse again. 6. after the whole car is washed and all the soap is off, go over the car with the autodry sprayer. and then 7. dry off
The car will shine as is but you may go the extra step and use meguairs spray detailer and then spray wax for a even more shine.
And the door panel inlays are stock from the factory, came with the interior upgrade package/red interior. They do look great. I haven't seen anyone selling them yet as far as I know, but I have seen people doing some custom ones that look great also.
