+1 on the Aluminum rear louvers. I love them, and they really don't reduce your visibility bc of their low visual horizontal profile. BUT I *had* them on until they started rattling like a diamondback. Since then they've been sitting in the box for over 12 mos, after paying $400+ for them.

If I could do it again, I'd buy the ABS plastic model. I really need to get them to a welder.

BTW, both the Astra Hammond and MRT aluminum rear louvers are the same, and are made by an third party.

But honestly, I really don't see mine as I see the louvers edge-on from the inside.
Well I'm 5'11" so I guess we'll have to see My mother had just driven my Mustang around the block, thats why my profile pic looks like the seat is all the way up, she's only 5'4" lol

I'm just under 6 feet myself, so you should have the same visibility I have.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

Here's a pic looking back from the inside. I don't notice the louvers much at all when driving. I've got the aluminum Visus/MRT ones.

Need opinions...
Just got mine in today, did a test fit at work, several people didn't like them with my side window louvers being white. Now I'm concerned with the look. Be honest...I got a good deal on them, not 'attached' to 'em yet. I could sell them if need be. Remember in the photo's they're just sitting on the car, NOT mounted down so the corners are raised a bit. Thanks!

I like the difference in contrast.
I have seen some all painted the same as the car and found there was too much of whatever color.

Thanks. And for what it's worth...
Installed them this evening, too dark to take pics. Will try and post back tomorrow after I clean the car up. They look alot better mounted.

My aluminum ones are Astro Hammond.
Saw a post a couple days ago somewhere, they said that the Astro Hammond and the MRT are the same. However, looking at the picture above...the red car....they are definately NOT the same.

Can you describe the installation? How are they attached to the car?

I'm getting side louvers for mine. Talked to a body shop stanger from way back, and he said they had a hard time keeping the rear louvers on the 60's cars at a high rate of speed back in the day.
