K&N Intake:
Pros:
Sounds awesome at WOT, easy installation.
Cons:
Didn't feel much difference from stock. It's there but its small.

Steeda Tri/Ax:
Pros:
Got rid of ALL the shifter slop compared to the stock. Much better shifter feel. Satisfying cu-clunk every gear.
Cons:
None! worth every penny.

Gibson Axleback:
Pros:
Deep rumbly sound similar to the flows.
Cons:
Wish it was a little louder.

Hey stlwagon,
What was it like after you put the driveshaft on? Any new noises vibrations etc?

Also, for anyone who knows... do you have to do an alignment after the LCAs?

Have a lot but ill keep it to the basics. Wheels/tires, exhaust, and suspension are all opinion based along with short throws, riding or driving a car is the only way to truly know what you'll like.

Good: heads/cams, 5.0 stroker, fidanza aluminum flywheel, zoom twin disk, fidanza d/s, BBK long tubes.

Ok: BBK CAI is great in its own right but its not enough air flow for my motor.

Bad: fact that I have to replace these tires every 15k

In the mail/on the shelf: metco lca's and relos, steeda adj UCA and mount, 3.90's.

My only regret is not doing the suspension at the same time I didn't my springs shocks/struts.

- MGW shifter - makes a big difference you will feel every time you shift a gear

Well, many of my mods had to be done more than once. My first hood I got had issues, then I bought a second hood just to discover the issues were with the car and not the hood.

My first ducktail spoiler magically split along the tip (gee, body shop blamed manufacturer, manufacturer blamed body shop). My stripes in the rear were not done to my satisfaction so they got redone.

Little things like my shorty antenna was too short, so I replaced it with a slightly longer one. Oneof my MRT hood struts failed and got replaced.

My tires managed to get a mysterious flat, not once, but twice, with only 3500 miles on the car, so I replaced all four tires.

Now, I am one of the fools who bought a 70mm throttle body and a throttle body spacer. I got rid of the spacer but still have the TB (although not getting any gains out of it).

I am likely to redo my CAI, for I currently have the K&N CAI, but am seriously thinking of going with s C&L CAI, as well as getting an updated tune from Brenspeed.

I have regretted buying the Saleen suspension (springs, shocks, struts, etc), for in hindsight, it would have been better just to get the Eibach springs and anit-sway bars, then get the Tokico D-Specs adjustable shocks/struts.

Was it a CDC spoiler? I have the same thing with mine and the person I was emailing about it hasn't returned any of my emails after I sent pictures. Its a vertical crack about 1/8 inch wide. I think I might just get a body shop to fill it and paint. Probably cheaper than replacing.

No, it was a Legends LM-500 rear ducktail spoiler. It was repairable. In fact, I sold it to stlwagon, who had it repaired and installed on his sweet ride.

That's a nice spoiler. If I didn't already have my current one bolted on, I would probably swap.

And it's held up perfectly since MickMach fixed it for me. Best looking ducktail out there IMO.

Not that I am biased, but I must agree. I remember when I found this spoiler. At the time, I was one of the few, if not the first one on AFM with it. Now since both me and stlwagon have it, it has gotton lots of publicity (sheck maybe Legends should pay us a royalty for advertsing...lol). But no matter, I still think it is one hot ducktail.

I grant this thread is mods we regret....but on the flip side, my four favorite mods are my CD hood, my CDC aggessive choin spoiler, my CDC light bar and my Legends LM-500 ducktail spoiler.

I think you, me and Mick are the only ones still running it here at AFM.

That seems appropriate, since you three are all legends here on AFM.
