Hey everybody,
This could be a great thread for anyone interested in modding up their 2005+ Mustang GT. As the title says, Which mods are you happy you did? and which mods are you unhappy with? How much S.O.T.P did you gain or loose or dyno gains/losses, and what you would have done differently if you could do it again from scratch?
This would help people see what's out there and what we think of these mods, it could save alot of wasted time. I don't know, I figured I would throw this out there. Thanks In Advance everyone.
Very minor mod but not happy with the polished stainless steel fuse box cover. I think polished stainless steel will scratch if you look at it too hard. Bought a Mac polished stainless steel radiator cover for my 05 and it was a big waste of $200 - scratches appeared all over it.
Happy with everything else.

I paid $300 for a tune to make the 'drive by wire' more responsive. In all 3 tunes that the hand held tuner provided the only difference was the premium gas. I re-tuned to stock. The tuner sits on the shelf.
So far the Roush short throw is a piece of junk, and there customer service is worse. Everything else is ok so far.

This is great guys! Thanks for all the input Ok for me, I only have a few mods so far but I really think they are great.
**(GOOD MODS)= *C&L Intake Street Version w/heat shield & SCT II X-Calibrator 93oct Tune=Great looks, performance & sound! Feels like a 40HP gain! *Borla Stinger Catback System=Awesome sound!! Very little drone believe it or not. Not much power gain, it feels faster because of the sound...I would say 10HP crank max. I know it's not a real catback too *Next is the BFGoodwrich G-Force KDW 2-P255/45/ZR18 Tires= Awesome traction, great wet & dry handling, a little wider than stock 235's and ofcourse Great Looks!! Some claim they make more noise than the stock BF's, honestly I can't tell. They certainly ride better in my opinion. Now I can come out of the hole really hard with alot less spin. 10 out of 10 for the 1st 500 miles on these tires. *Hurst shifter= Short throws, very precise, excellent feel. Kind of stiff at first, but you get used to it fast. I drive a 13 spd rig so the Hurst feels light to me lol. I love the looks of the shifter also. I'm very happy with this mod*
**(NOT SO GOOD MODS)= None as of yet, and this thread is already helping me with that. The one thing I kind of regret is getting the Black Racing Stripes....They look amazing and I love them, but they attract alot more attention thats the only problem. Overall worth it though.
Keep it coming guys Thanks again~
I've been happy with everything I've done (see sig), but I don't have a lot of spare $, so every mod is very carefully considered and researched. Threads like this help wiith that.

Very happy with the Hurst short throw, Steeda UDP's, C&L CAI, Pypes offroad h-pipe, and Brenspeed tunes.
Happy with the Spohn adj. LCA's
on the fence about... the combination of Pypes h-pipe and the flowmaster american thunders. very loud when I am just minding my own business around town. but, sounds wicked awesome at wide open throttle.

DISSAPPOINTING: The combination of SLP LoudMouths with hi-flow catted x-pipe; MRT Aluminum rear window louvers (should have gotten the ABS plastic set).
