Default Need gauges, how much does color affect night sight?

Hey all. I have an 07 V6 with an X-Charger. I'm trying to figure out what types of gauges to get. I'm thinking a Boost gauge(obviously) and a A/F gauge. I have a few questions:

1. What is the difference between a wideband AF and an AF?

2. I've been looking at a couple different Auto Meter gauge styles and I've found the Cobalt, Phantom 2, and Sport-Comp 2. The Cobalt has blue light, but I've seen them and they are very bright. This could of course be fixed by installing a dimmer on the gauges. The Phantom and SC2 are white when lit up (numbers only). I like the look of these better but will the white light be worse for night driving than the blue light? I figure I will put a dimmer on them either way, but what do you guys think?

I've done searches and I think this might also be a good time to post pics of your gauge setup if you got them (day and night would probably help a lot of people).

Thanks!

No pics, but I can tell you from experience-The brighter the guage is,the more it takes away from your night vision after you look at them and look out the windows.Regardless of color (blue is better then white, and red is best) the dimmer you run your guages, the better you can see other things
