Mustang OK car show

Just got back from a 3 day National MCA car show. I was rockin down the hiway with 30 other Mustangs going to the show. THe show itself was simply over whelming. 600+ Mustangs. Everything you could imagine was there. I just don't know where to begin. I was parked next to a new Pernelli Jones and nose to nose with a Rousch 427. There were two car in particular that caught my eye. MustangII hatchback customized to resemble an Eleanor, and a fully customized 69 fastback. One car I tried to avoid was a pink 67 coupe. There were so many new Shelby 500's there, they seemed like a dime a dozen. Pics will be posted soon.

Pics are posted in my gallery. They were hoping to have 300 cars. Over 400 pre-registered. On Friday, they were running out of spaces and I heard someone say they were expecting another 200 from the Dallas area on Saturday. Eventually, they started parking cars on the sidewalks, and entrance drive with a few parked in the grass. All of the 06-07's (over 70) were grouped together, since those were too new to be judged and went by popular vote. This was by far the largest show I've ever seen or been a part of let alone all of them Mustangs.

This is the same event that I was supposed to go to a few months ago with the "BMC" Black Mustang Club. It was to be the grand opening of somebodys shop and they were all real nice to talk to on the phone.

But on the week end it was supposed to happan the weather ruined everything, and I never heard more about it. Is this the same event you went to after they regrouped?

If so, I dont want to miss another!!!

Warlock, you may be a bit confused on this one. I heard about this show last Oct. The BMC and the YMC were there in strong forces.

Wow, that sounds like a huge show. I wish I could see something like that in my area. The biggest show I've been in had about 350 cars, not all Mustangs.

Those stangs are amazing! Definitly a show I'm going to sometime in this life.
