Hi there, Just bought 2007 Ford Mustang V6 Pony Package in Vista Blue. (True Love) And I am wondering if anybody has some advice to give.

Basically, I want to attach a "3D Carbon Front Air Dam" to my Front lower fascia bumper. And I want it to be painted black so that it matches my two black stock side skirts. Does anybody know what type of primer, paint etc. to use. What would work best? Note... the two side skirts are a kind of black plastic, will there be any issues with the black on those side skirts not matching the black paint I will put on the "3D Carbon Front Air Dam"?

Welcome aboard... You should have it done professionally since it requires a special adhesion promoter additive in the paint to get it to stick properly to the plastic parts.

You have also the choice to paint your air dam the same color of your car and change your side skirt by use GT side skirt paint vista blue.

I do not have the 3D Carbon air dam, but do have the CDC aggressive chin spoiler, and I had my painted black to match the body. I had the work done by my local body shop to ensure it was done correctly.

Hello welcome to the site. there's alot of great info here. i also have a CDC spoliler but mine's the classic i had mine painted body color and love it. i to have black stripe's.

Welcome to AFM! and id definately go for the chin spoiler.. i got the CDC Classic Chin Spoiler.. Painted Flatblack to go for a retro look..
