Default 2006 5 point saftey belts

2005-2007 mustang gt. Has anyone installed a 5 or 6 point saftey harness? How did you install it? How did you mount shoulder harness?

I have a crowe and I mounted it to the roll bar.

IMO without a roll bar, it's not much use as the rules that require will require a roll bar as well.

I have heard of 'adapter' kits that attach to your current seat belt to make a 4 point. Try looking at summit for them. Technically, you could just get a super long unit and weld brackets on the underside of the rear of the seat and run it down the back of the seat and attach it there. That's about your only option without a roll bar.

The shoulder straps and left lap belt of my 5-point harness are attached to the roll bar. The right lap belt and crotch strap are attached to the floor of the car.
