Exactly, it is one thing to buy a GT500 that is already supercharged, but to install it yourself makes it more your own creation IMO. I installed mine a little while ago, if you have any questions just shoot me an email.

Besides which I think a 4.6 powered Mustang is a better balanced car. The 5.4 is cast iron and is heavier making the car nose heavy and more prone to understeer. An accquaintance bought a GT500 and with slicks he ran an 11.7 (this was in Ottawa Canada). I think my car will do that when I'm done.

That's a great time for a GT500. There was one at the track up here last week running mid 13's on the stock tires vs my 13.10's with Drag Radials.
Did pick up the Shelby GT 500 awesome!! 535 HP – New CAI, Pulley, and Slicks Went to Calabogey and ran an 11.7, 11.4, and 11.3 Had a blast I know I can get it in the 10’s with a better takeoff as it was I had a hard time hooking up.
