I don't think you'd have a problem, if there was one you'd know it by now.
The thing about octane is if your engine doesn't NEED it, running high octane will actually make it slower. High octane fights off detonation by slowing down the burn process and if it's in a stock engine, then it won't burn as explosively. But if it's tuned for the 93, then use that since the timing will be advanced for it.

Ask me why I ran "only" a 13.54.

It won't hurt, just won't give you any benefits if the tune is set for 93. Now on the opposite side, if you had a tune for 91 and used 87, that would be very bad for the plugs, which is due to a lean condition. The timing is advanced for higher octane fuel.
The higher the octane with the proper tune will result in added HP. 93 vs 87

no the car seems to run stronger this way to me... i can tray to use 91 fuel for the 91 tune. should i try this.. or should i keep using the 93 91 tune using 93 octane????? in otherwords will it be better to use 91 on 91

Not really sure that I understand this...Your spending money on 93 octane gas, why not just run a 93 octane tune? That would eliminate your question and there will be no question of you possibly damaging your engine. No idea why you would even mess with 91 octane tune and not use the corresponding gas for it

I use 93 with 93 tune, except when i go for service, then drop on the OEM box and return to stock tune, for the service still have 93 in the tank, then revert back to my CAI after service.

I've seen many TC's and other forced induction come with an sct with a 91 octane tune due to its universal ability to purchase 91 octane fuel in the US. I, personally think that if not NA and running a canned tune that it would be smart to run 93 on the 91 tune until professionally tuned for your specific car. I know you'll give up a few ponies, but it will also help in keeping detonation away.
just my little off topic .02

I seem to remember someone saying something to the effect that the octane number has some correlation as to how far the gas can be compressed before it detonates(ie, 87 can be compressed less than say 93 before combusting). This true?

Seems to?
Try to use 91?
So, have you used 91 with the 91 tune?
If I'm reading this correctly, you've only used 93 since you put in the 91 tune.
Of course it's going to run stronger, you've put in a better tune than stock, and have at least (actually higher) the minimum octane for the tune.
You are just pissing away money with the 93 without a tune for it.
Me, I use the 91 tune........because we don't freakin' have 93 octane where I live.
