What are your thoughts on gas additives such as Techron for the S197's?

I swear by Seafoam. It hasn't been around for 60 years for nothing!

It's a detergent. Cleans the fuel and intake system. Cleans lifters, rings, lubricates the upper cylinder.

Just added the Seafoam to my car. Cost $6.47 at Autozone. I dont know if it was the combination with the oil seperator... but i notice that its running cleaner, with less carbon build up.

About once every 3000 miles. Sooner if I suspect I got some bad gas or notice it's running worse than normal.
