Default Mustang Dyno VS Dyno Jet

Does anyone know what the percentage difference is between a Mustang dyno and a dyno jet? I'm looking at two dyno sheets with one from each type dyno (different manufacturers) and I want to overlay them to get a true comparison. I'll adjust the Mustang dyno numbers to match up better with the dyno jet. I just can't remember what the approximate percentage diff is. Thanks in advance.

MD Chassis dyno is 8-10% lower than a DJ 224X or DJ 248h.

I ran 242 on a Mustang dyno and 270 on a Dynojet. Same exact setup.

That's over 11% but I'm sure it varies from device to device. I ran a 296 on an MD and 325 on a DJ back in early 2006.

This information is really interesting. I think that is a pretty big difference, is one more accurate?

When playing the "whose is biggest" game with some guys, it's interesting to know they may have an inflated or underrated number they are saying. (I try not to play the game, but sometimes the guys that do irk me, when they are jerks about it. Actually, one of the reasons I like this board so much is that everyone seems so pleasant in their replies.)

I've had my best tunes with a Mustang dyno. Bottom line: hp numbers don't matter at all. The dyno is just a tool to get the best tune possible.
