I have this same hood but without the ram air kit. I get a ton of water under the hood when it rains. What happens to all this water with the ram air kit. Does it become a cheap form of water injection?

I can't speak for the Cervini Ram Air Kit but Sucoast hoods have water management as part of its standard features. If you take a close look at the attached photo you'll see a few small holes along the front edge of the hood where water can drained out. There are also internal baffles to "catch" the water as it flies into the scoop and channel it toward these low spots. I'm not sure how you can accomplish this same affect in a bolt on air channel. I would recommend you try to get a photo of the Ram Air kit and look for water management evidence.

i dont want to start a war with suncoast...that being said, cervinis kit dumps air and water to a box which attaches to air box. this box has a drain hole on it. any water that makes it past this to air box is drained out bottom of air box. the stock air box has hole in it already for drainage which is enlarged during installation of kit.

No war needed or intended. It sounds like Cervini's has it under control.

Thumbs up Build your Own K&N Airbox

Hi, when i bought the cervinis concept hood at first i was using the original air box , i was kind of piss of cause i had to remove tha CA that i previuslly install .
Then after a while I decided to build my own box for the Ca made of fiberglass , and i came out good ... took me a lot of time though to get the proper high , to be able to get it all sealed againts the hood

Will be posting the pics in a little bit.
