Yeah for you! I didn't even know such a thing was possible!
It is pretty fun to sit in the garage in the dark and see how many colors you can make. Red messes with my eyes SOOOO bad! It makes everything look 3D.
Someone once posted a link to a document that tells you how to make every possible color combination. I printed it--I think it's 3-4 pages.
Enjoy!!

Hmmmm. So if I install a used IUP cluster, I don't have to have Ford install it, but if I get a new IUP cluster, I have to have them transfer the data to the new cluster? Please tell me if this is correct. Also I heard that the vin number is stored in the cluster, so could that result in a problem later down the road? I just want to make sure everything is going to work properly before buying a used cluster. Also if the used cluster comes with less mileage than I have on my car, that would make my heart feel a lot better.

That info is for installation of a new IUP cluster. That has nothing to do with my question.

With that info I would think that you still would have to have your info downloaded and loaded to the used one you have. If it still has the old info on it when they load your info on it should over write it.

Prior to removal of the instrument cluster, it is necessary to upload the instrument cluster configuration information to a diagnostic tool and then download the information to the new one.

Has anyone figured out a hack to have the mycolor display during the daytime with the headlights off? My car came with this cluster but I find it stupid to have to go back to the standard cluster colors during the day.

There is a feature that can be turned on which will notify you when you hit a certain speed. It's in the owners guide... I think.

Cool No PATS issue ?

To be clear..... Do you have PATS on your car there in Canada and did you have NO issue with it when doing this install?
No dealer programming, etc ?
