2005 Mustang GT One piece driveshaft........What is the best? There seem to be so many choices; so I am asking all of you. I am looking for a replacement driveshaft that can handle future mods, namely a Kenne Bell blower. My 05 has eibach prokit springs and anti-roll kit, 18X9 Shelby Torkthrust M(American Racing) My largest determining factor would be NO additional NVH; the car is a semi-daily driver. I drive the 100 mile round trip out Sunnyvale 2-3 days a week as most.
I am sure that we will all see one of these "shootouts" featured in one of the Mustang magazines at some point; I wanted to check with you guys first.
Any input is greatly appreciated

I've been completely satisfied with my Powerhouse driveshaft. The Spydershaft is also very popular.

+1 on the Powerhouse!! I love mine, although it has to come out now to accomodate the new 9" rear end.

While both are good, the Powerhouse was designed for the S197 whereas the Spydershaft is fabricated from a Ford Ranger driveshaft.

Does anyone know if Ford Racing is developing a driveshaft for our cars?

Not that I've heard anything negative about the Spydershaft though. I think everyone's been very satisfied so far.

I've read one complaint regarding a vibration at high speed, but I think all-in-all spider DS have had great reviews.

Missed that one. Was it for certain the driveshaft?

I have the Spyder DS and have no porblems.
I think one thing to consider is Do you want to use a adapter spacer or change out the pinion yoke. Some use adapters and I know form experence that Spyder uses a new pinion yoke.

Not sure mark...The member stated that he noticed it after install. I do believe there was concern regarding the DS being balenced, But i never followed up on the thread

Is this a do it yourself mod, or did you guys have yours professionally installed?
