Hey, they stole my idea of the chrome door trim around the grille. Man, I get no respect at all.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

The exterior does look pretty plain. I guess if you really like the dark highland green this car is for you. It has a nice stance and is true to the look of the original car from the movie. And there are some nice new touches done to the interior. But I thought I saw an early shot of this Bullitt that showed chrome trim around the side windows and sailpanel windows. That looked cool to me, standing out against the dark green body color and looking very retro-style like the original '68 Mustang in the movie. But I don't see that in any of these new pics.

I think a lot of the AFM members cars are nicer looking than this Bullitt. And I'm not talking the really splashy cars with stripes and aftermarket hoods, etc (like MrV's car, for instance). I've seen pictures of members' cars in Redfire and WB and Vista Blue (all without any stripes) that looked sharper to me than the dark green Bullitt. And its not like it has an extra 50 or 100 HP over the GT to make it more desireable.

"The car features the first use of an open-element air filter in a factory-produced, fuel-injected Mustang. Inspired by Ford Racing, the intake is tucked neatly behind the driver side headlamp, mounted in an air box that was tooled up specifically for the Mustang. The hood liner was extensively modified to provide a full seal to the air box, ensuring that the engine is fed a steady diet of cooler air.

"Colder air reduces intake losses," said Randle. "The new cold-air intake has shown a reduction in rise over ambient temperature from 50 degrees down to 17 degrees Fahrenheit. That equates to more horsepower and more torque in all driving conditions."

I like the heat shield on that CAI. Not impressed with the front clip though.

the grille looks cheesy... it looks like they just fitted a v6 grille into the GT opening and used the chrome trim to fill the space.

Yep, I would not buy a car with + MSRP's

+1, to me the car looks very cheap looking. I am not a fan of that Green.

Agree................ +1

Not impressed with the look of the car, maybe because my taste changed to dislike chrome on cars.

I'm digging the chrome trim & door handle.
Here's the link to the Bullitt spy shot that showed chrome trim around the side windows that I mentioned seeing before. (But no chrome trim on the new Bullitt pictures.)

I like the machined finish on the dash and the nav radio. I do like the heat shield also. I wounder what the mufflers sound like? they don't look like regular stock.
