Hello all,
Well my car has a dent on the back driverside fender. Its not the first minor dent but I was wondering what you guys would do. I park everywhere, on streets, garages, but I have no clue when and where this happened, it must have happened today, why else would I notice it. Here is some pics:
Sorry to hear about the dent. Although I don't have anything to offer on how to fix it, I do have something you might want to look into. It is a camera which mounts in your car which has a built in accelerometer, so it snaps a picture when a person dings ya and drives off. I can't remember the name, but I'll see if I can find a link for you. Might help next time someone pulls an "oops" at your expense...

Thanks dude, well I can always take it to the collision place, they charge me around 36 bucks for a similar dent, dont know how much they are going to charge now.

Dont expect a paintless repair on that one! Unless you want to look at creases and scratches. Silver is one of the worse colors to work with. At my shop (kingcollision.com) that would be $300.00 to $400.00 bucks. For this price the only evidence of a repair would be a fine line of clear along the door and trunk jamb, seen only when they are open. If you are going to shop around, make shure they tell you that they will remove the tail light, rear bumper and that they remove and clear the fuel door. Paying a MACCO price will only come back to haunt you!
I would probably junk it or make it into a shooting car and park it in the front yard. Or not.

i had a dent on the rear flare but very minor and dentwizard took it out by drilling a hole in the wheel well, fixin it and then plugging it. but the damage you have there is beyond pdr. thats a body shop job that might get pricey considering the location. sorry to hear that somebody got you too. which goes to show no matter how careful you are, theres always somebody careless around to do some damage. good luck!

LOL....I would not park in two space, because yeah I know there are people that would spit on my car if I did....or park there regardless (its happened), I had to go through the passengers side.

Dude, people suck. I sit in the car at places like walmart while my wife shops because I hate to go in, And I just watch people. I watch people hit cars and not even know it. Or hit a car then move two isles over like nothing. A handful of times already I have witnessed this, confronted the people then written there plate number and vehicle discription on something and left it under the guy's wiper. You gotta do something and unfortunately you can't always kick ass.
