Just wanted to double check with you guys-I replaced the stock muffler with the JBA evol. I only used the front right and back left reusable hangers, is that o.k.? I did not use the one by the inlet pipe since that one does not come off the old muffler.

Also should the rear hanger bolt vertically or horizontally, forgot how it was in my rush to get the new one on. Noticed there are holes for bolts in both places.

use all the hangers,if needed get some at the parts house.

I noticed the Flowmasters and some other brands do not have the 3rd hanger by the inlet pipe.

Anybody with a stock exhaust tell me if the back left hanger should be bolted on vertically or horizontally?

if you do some searching on this site you can find photos or links to photos of the muffler both on and off the hangers. As I recall from doing mine the hanger is vertical but I'm not positive.

There are only 2 hangers on aftermarket and GT mufflers- you don't need the 3rd one that is on the stock muffler.
