On my older Fords I change the plugs every few thousand kilometers, I don't know exactly what the recommendation is for my 06 Mustang though. I bought the car used at 20,000 K and I pulled off the original air filter last week when I installed the CAI so I'm betting the plugs are original too. I'm thinking it's time to replace them but I've seen some references about leaving that til 30,000 Miles. If there's truth to that I'll probably leave them alone.
