Well I bought my Xcal3 at a local shop, as it turned out they don't hand out preprogrammed units, they load a tune for you based on what you've got. Actually I suspect what they gave me was a warmed over SCT tune compensated for the 3000 foot elevation, it was better than Hypertech but not stellar, shifting didn't really improve any. Over that the Bama tune improvement was quite evident, the shifts happen in a split second which may have something to do with why low end torque feels stronger. Overall I'm very glad I tried it. And for $50 why not?
