 Can anyone test fit an AR Torque Thrust 15" tire on their V6?
Hi all, I need a favor, if anyone has a friend with American Racing Torque Thrust 15" rims on a classic Mustang, can you borrow one and test fit it on your front and rear brakes?
I want to see if the 15" Torque Thrusts will clear the V6 rotor and calipers without interference. You don't need to drive with them on, just give them a spin while on the jack and see if they rub any.
I have a '67 Coupe and want to install '05-'08 V6 front disc brakes, we've discovered these and GT brakes (front as well as the rear) will fit classic stangs with a custom caliper mounting adapter but you have to use 16" or larger rims with the GT brakes, I want to keep 15" X 7" wheels and am hoping they'll clear the calipers.
Thanks to anyone that can test/answer this for me, I'm ready to ditch these 4 wheel nonpower drum brakes and get some newer twin piston ones that I can get Hawk or any other good aftermarket pads for.
