Replacing the Steering Wheel of a V6

Hi There, I got one question. Does the OEM Leather steering wheel fits the V6 with the plastic standart one? If it is so, what is the procedure?

Yes it does, there is two bolts on the backside of the steering wheel (under grommet covers). Remove those to release the airbag/horn module. After that it's just disconnecting some plugs and taking off the nut that holds the steering wheel on. About a 15-20 min job...very simple

how hard is it to pull the cover of the steering wheel off?

also, when messing around near the airbag, are there any safety precautions one should take to insure that the airbag does not deploy in ones face? haha. Is there a tool needed for this job?

Im buying a replacement leather wheel so I'm interested in any help...
