Default 2007 Mustang V6...help on front anti sway bar installation

i tried to remove the bolts thats mounted on the shocks of the front anti sway bars it looks like its loose i was just using socket wrenches. im a newbie so if u guys could help me w/ some techniques.. i am considering impact wrenches it myt help. my car is a V6 07 coupe. thanks..

Are you talking the sway bar vertical links? Those bolts will just rotate with the nut. You'll need an open end wrench or small vice grips on the flat part of the bolt to hold it in place.

yup the links.. ok it looks like theres a rubber cover on the inner end i probably need to remove it to expose the bolts. thanks very much

Just pull the boot back a little to expose it.

just did it.. was my first time to wrk w/ this type of bolts thanks for the help. now im gonna try it on the curves..

If you get any knocking from the front suspension it's usually those vertical sway bar nuts that need to be tightened more.
