Default Which Dual Set Up? (2005+ Mustang v6)

Ok, I have a few set ups that I'm thinking of:

O/R H-Pipe w/ Borla Stingers

O/R H-Pipe w/ Mac Axelback

O/R X-Pipe w/ above listed exhausts

If you have any suggestion other than the ones I have listed post them please.

What I'm looking for is the throtiest (for a v6) and deepest. No ricey noise like Flowmasters.

Sorry, I am no help, but I am wondering the same thing.

I think Borla makes a full set up for the V6. From what I have heard they sound very good.
What about the JBA H-Pipe, I have not heard one of those.

The only advice I can give you would be to go to YouTube, and turn your speakers up to hear the deep sounds.

Good Luck

Deep is hard to find with a v6. The A/T's arent ricey...look on youtube on the black mustang with them...they sound nice.

Out of those, I would pick the H-pipe with the Borlas.

Try your local muffler shop as well for suggestions. they usually have whta youd want in an exhaust system and for cheaper too. I asked my local shop and they told me the different qualities of each brand name muffler. I ended up getting the tru duals flowmasters with H pipe for only 526$ and thts including the parts and labor as well as the exhaust tips =P. and they sound amazing. it has a throaty sound especially in the mid range and upper range rpm. definately worth it

Of the ones you listed go w/the borlas. I have heard them in person as well as on youtube. they absolutlely sound amazing. They aren't real throaty though, more of a smooth mellow growl. And according to most people here I would go with the x-pipe setup. Borlas are pricey though.

Stlwagon showed me link to rpmoutlet.com that had a full x-pipe setup from pypes that looked great and was a great price too. it's not the 69 series ones, its the pypes w/chambered mufflers.

I didn't even pay attention to that one. I need to go back and relook.

I have the one's from Dynomax it is a complete set-up with x-pipe it has the best sound for a 6 I have ever heard and most people who hear it are impressed. Roush's test people said it was the best hands down they have heard either. just opinions thou

How do you plan to pass emissions with a O/R H or X pipe??
