Default bought a new 07 mustang convertable 4.0

whats the stock HP on the automatic?
Looking foward to fixing my vehicle up to bypass the GT.
Any idea's where to start?

they only have 200.....you need ALOT to bypass a new GT...you jus should buaght a GT and leave it stock lol

BHP is 210 and 5750 rpm. If you want to beat a GT, you're going to need to look at a supercharger or turbo or drop a big chunk of change on a 4.5 stroker.

Well no **** a GT would of been better to start off with but since I didnt have credit I was forced to the v6. I can make payments on the shelby if i could of got it financed...
Prob. switching the single exhaust to tru duals 1st...any suggestions???

Dual exhaust would be good. A change of gear will give you an instant increase in acceleration. Go to a 3.73 or 4.10. Cold Air Induction and a tune of course. Still don't know if you'd be in GT territory.

need to install intake and then switch to a 373 or a 410??
is that easily done?

Gears are not really a DIY job... That's one mod that really requires an experienced pro.
