Default Which is better? c &l intake duel ram air hood?

Hello,
I am thinking of upgrading to A cevini hood duel ram air

Stage 3 Motorsports 2005-08 Mustang Cervinis Ram Air Hood

My question is, Witch is better to have? A duel ram air hood using the stock air box, says it does not need A tune.

Or

The C&L intake.That requires A tune.

Don't get me wrong.I will be buying A Xcal3. But what is the better buy duel ram,or CAI? 4.0 V6

The C&L... The hoods don't do much performance-wise other than let some heat out. The scoops on these hoods are far below the laminar flow so ram air is a real stretch.

This was A time I typed before I looked.
I just found this

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...-air-myth.html

Very helpful.
But If I was still going to buy this hood,Would I be better of to get the plastic hood and just block off the scoops.
I wouldn't want water pouring in from the vents.

Many of the ram air hoods have built-in water management. I don't want to discourage you, the hoods do provide cooler air, it's just not forced into the intake.

The hood with the CAI is better than the CAI alone.
