Default Aftermarket Driveshaft for 2005+ Mustang V6

Anyone here have an aftermarket driveshaft? reading in different forum earlier and quite few members swear by them and how much of difference they make. I think the brand was from shaftmasters? Are there anyother brands reasonably prcied out there?

i cant think of any brands besides that one... but what i've heard about them is all good things! may i suggest going with a aluminum shaft... they make a carbonfiber shaft as well, that may offer better performance over the aluminum one, but the carbon shaft will snap, whereas an aluminum shafts tends to bend... now the fact possibility of that actually happening is slim-to-none, but believe it or not, this actually happened to a friend of mine... so imo, go with the aluminum shaft, it only weighs a few more ounces than the cfiber, and is less expensive, and the performance is pretty much the same for both of them (since the drive shaft is more for weight reduction, not raw HP or torque gains) but take a look at all your possibilities and make a decision based on what you think is right for you. hope this helped you out a little...

I read on some AFM posts that members recommended this one. It seemed to have quite a few favorable opinions. I'm just amazed at the price. The aluminum shaft for my fox body was no where near this cost. Nonetheless, I hear it's a nice piece.

I have the shaftmaster 4" on my 06 V6 automatic.A good mod and not that expensive, cheaper than powerhouse and price includes delivery. They,Shaftmasters, have since come out with a 3" model also.
Both are supposed to be stronger and definetly lighter thhan stock.
I lke mine

Has anyone tried the ultra light drive shaft offered by rpmoutlet.com?

GT drive shaft will not work in a V6... I preferred Shaftmasters.
