Default where can I find a 2007 Mustang Shelby hood scoop

I am working on a project with/for my son and am looking for the authentic Shelby hood scoop for a 2007 GT - the one with the "fake" mounting bolts around the edge. Does anyone know where I can buy one? We tried our local Ford dealer but they had no idea.

you mean the shelby GT hood scoop? because the GT500 does not come with one. I always thought the bolts around it looked tacky. but i am sure you can get one through ford for an arm and a leg. Someone on here can help you i am sure.

Have you contacted SAI (Shelby Automobiles, Inc.). which is where this hood scoop is produced. I have not seen this product for sale with Ford. Good luck. Jim

These scoops are not available from Ford or Shelby. If you find one it will be from a wrecked car or someone that has replaced the hood on their SGT. I have seen some on ebay but due to their unavailability I've seen a few sold for more than $500. I believe one went for over $800! You might want to consider some alternatives.
