What have you done about your speaker vibration? 206 Mustang V6
The sound in my 06, for a stock Shaker 500 system, is great, but when I crank up the tunes and the bass is heavy the door panels vibrate bad. Anybody have the same issues, and what fixes are their?
Don't turn it up so loud.
Woofers in a door panel is a bad idea, it's going to vibrate no matter what, It's best to have them in the trunk.
By the way, the stock speakers are C.R.A.P.

yeah even the 07 system is bad my side mirrors vibrate alot and make a vvery annoying sound. but i am getting all that replaced in the next two weeks with a kick ass system.
my only suggestion is dont listen to loud music, you dont need to show it off, but im not one to talk i enjoy people staring at me when at a red light

I had the same prob with mine and found it to be the power window switch. Verify if that is your prob by lifting up on the switches (both) while the stereo if loud. If your vibes stop, then pull the switch panel off (the switch panel just pulls out) unclip the switch from the harness and put some foam between the panel and the switch and plug the switch back into the panel. It worked great for me, hope it does for you.
Behind the inside door release handle, there is a removable plastic cover to access a screw. Remove that plastic cover, stick some double sided mounting tape to the back of it, and put it back in.
Behind the inside door handle for closing the door, there is another plastic cover there. Do the same thing on this one. It might require two layers of double sided mounting tape.
My drivers side mirror used to rattle a lot. I removed it, insulated it with 3M insulation tape, and the rattle is gone.
As far as the door subs and speakers, they are CRAP. I replaced my door 6x8 speakers with a less boomy speaker. I used Infinity Kappa 6x8's and also threw in titanium dome tweeters in the doors and on a few dash panels. The subwoofers were removed. I kept the grill covers there to maintain a factory look in the doors.
I purchased a JBL dash speaker from a junk yard. It came from a Toyota Prius. I drilled a hole and mounted the flush mount JBL speaker with grill in the center of my dash. I also have Infinity Kappa 2" Surrounds mounted on the left and right of the headrest arms, providing true 5.1 digital surround sound to both driver and front passenger. I don't worry about the backseat too much, even though there are infinity satellite speakers mounted on the rear decklid. I am a big audio enthusiast. I am a musician, so I like my music to sound superb in my car. Listening to a regular CD and listening to DVD-Audio CD's in Digital 5.1 surround sound is like night and day.
My final word about door subs. Keep your bump in the trunk. and go for something simple. I choose infinity speakers because they are not overpowering. Quality beats quantity anyday. 2 Infinity Perfect 10" 10.1 subwoofers in the trunk make everything sound great, but it keeps everything sounding crisp and clean at the same time.
Remember this. Your mustang is an American car. It's the American dream. Please don't rice it out. If you do, please don't post pictures. It makes me cry when I see pictures like that.

Don't turn it up, that sounds like an answer my wife would give me, no help thanks. The window switches do vibrate, and I will try the foam idea and see if that helps. Thinking about pulling the door panels off and trying some of that sound padding inside the doors, I think I saw it at Circuit City. As for replacing the speakers, budget says no way.
Ok as far as stock speakers go yeah they are crap but this system is the best stock system I have ever heard. I have replaced my door speakers with clarion, left the door subs cuz I like them, and added extra stuff (cap, bass expander, fuse block, line convertor) in the trunk to go with my 2 clarion 10's. I will be replacing the deck speakers in a few months. At that point when I am happy with the whole sound and after getting a dvd deck or just a deck I like I will be going to start adding sound deadner.
As 2005_v6_mustang said quality over quantity, and when is comes to car audio the #1 rule I find true is you get what you pay for. You buy those cheep speakers you get cheep speakers, you buy quality names you get quality product. Hearing the same system in the same car but one car has sound proofing that is truly night and day. You can hear the rattle and the music from the un-matted car but very little from the matted car. Get in to the matted car (or drop the windows) however and its a whole other world. It will sound a lot better then the un-matted car. I have been into car audio for over 10 years and have installed all my own systems and learned a lot. I can't do everything but I can do enough to save me thousands.
Another solution would be to click menu on the head unit, cycle through until you get to bass and lower it. I never had a problem when I had my Shaker 500 and I don't have any problems with my current Shaker 1000. I have the bass turned up all the way too, I think it sounds great, no vibrations at all.
