Exclamation E Brake Problem

I don't know exactly how it happened but my ebrake stopped working somehow. I parked my car and pulled up my ebrake when I stopped to go inside my house and it was fine. When I came back out I pulled on it some to release it and there was no tension. Now I can pull it all the way up and down and it just clicks. I opened the compartment to tighten the line and it was loose so I tightened it down all the way. It still has no tension though. I can see the cable inside the compartment and as I lift up it moves with the lever so it must still be attached. Is it possible the cable came loose from the adjuster bolt. Anyone know the easiest way to fix this?

You'd need to put it up on a lift and follow the line back through the tunnel to the wheels. Several have had lines snap.

This would be covered under the warranty correct?

Absolutely... Unless they can tie it to your supercharger install.

haha well if that would be the case I would not be a very happy customer....from what they said as long as i didnt modify the brake system it should be covered, I painted the calipers before but I dont think that would be considered modifying the brake system

This happened to me during the winter. I believe the lines iced up and snapped so the brake lines couldn't release the brakes. Had to hit them to get them to let got so I could drive to the dealership. Warranty covered everything.
