I did the same thing with my V6 over a year ago. There are a few things that would be nice to know about ahead of time. Maybe Stlwagons info might mention some of these, but if not, here it is:
The inner front fender wells on the V6 are shaped differently exposing turn signal parts to debry from the front tires once the GT facia is on. Some people woundn't care about this, but it bothered me so I got the GT Fender wells (Just the forward part) from the dealer for under $30.00.
There's a styrofoam piece on the front metal cross member that's hidden under the top part of the facia below the grill. The V6 piece is a 1/4" too tall and will make the facia bulge too high. Not having it at all made mine sag and show an ugly gap between the bottom of the grill and the facia. The GT styrofoam piece was about $9 at the dealer.
That top cover over the radiator: There's 6 little plastic plug fastener things. I could only get 4 of them back in because something ligns up differently- No big deal though.
The back bumper: inside, there's a brace made of some composite(?) material that spans from tail light to tail light. It has four bolts evenly spaced about a foot apart. BE VERY CAREFUL PULLING THAT APART! The bolts are stuck in place with that black rubbery glue stuff and if you pull too hard, it will brake the bolts out of that brace. At least, that's how it is on the '06. The '07 is probably the same, since my GT facias came off an '07 from Saleen. My rear brace has two broken bolts and it's been like that since. That brace is about $260.00. There are some other little details, but this reply is already too long. Hope this helps.

also note that the gt grill will not just replace your v6 grill u will have to modify some clips to get it to fit fully, can be a bit tricky

If I were to put a GT front bumper on my v6 and buy a 2 piece billet grill, I would not need to buy the GT grills, correct?
