Default recomendations for tires

i need recomendations for tires as the stock ones are startin to wear out. i have the pony package wheels and plan to stay with them, tire size is 235 55zr17. not really too much of a fan of the stock pirelli pzero nero's, altho the price is right. could anybody put their recomendations on a good all season tire for rain and snow and all that and the price approx. and where they got it? thanks in advance

Yeah, the Pirelli pzero's are not a very good tire when its not used on a track surface especially in different climates. I recommend the Falken Ziex ZE-912's. Great all around performance in all seasons and surfaces. If you want a little bit less comfort and more performance then the next step up would be the Falken Ziex ZE-329's.

A set of BF Goodrich G-Force might not be a bad choice.

Why did Ford change to the 235/55 over the 245/45 used on the 99 - 04's? I like the lower profile of the 245's better.http://www.tirerack.com/images/trans.gif

i like the look of the previous low profiles too. but on our cars they look retarded. somebody my buddy works with gave me a set of the old gt fivespokes with winter tires on them, all in rough shape of course. but i put one on the front and the back just to see what it would look like and the wheels dont look bad but the gap is horrendous due to the smaller sidewall.
