Default Are LongTube Headers Harder to Put on then Shorties

how much harder is it for LT then Shorties bc i know on my 5.0 you have to lift the motor for the LT

but idk how it is for the V6 ones

Certainly harder than putting on unequal length shorties. Tuned length might be about as tough. You don't have to jack the motor though...

it is obviously harder but when you look at the fact that shorties are purely cosmetic and long tubes are not, the extra difficulty factor is worth it

May require loosening the p/s rack, removing the dipstick tube, disconnecting the steering column, removing the battery & tray, and possibly even the starter. Each application is a little different.

if it helps the G/F is wanting to add long tubes to her V6 and if i can get the chance tomorrow i'll take a look under there and see if there's anything that will for sure be in the way or not.
