Default I have a 2007 mustang v6, wondering what others are getting on gas mileage?

I have a 2007 v6 pony and was wondering what other people are getting on gas mileage?
At 55mph, I can actually get 35mpg. Going up to 70-75 mph,it drops to about 30.
It seems too good to be true....

I believe it. I filled up this morning and got 28 mph highway driving, but I was going 80 or a little over. If I slow to 70 or lower it definitely goes up. The in- town mileage is not so hot though.

Cruising at 80, I get 32-33. But I noticed when I drive below about 4,000' ASL, mileage drops into the high 20's.

I drive 42 miles each way for work. It takes me anywhere from 1 - 2 hours. Chicago traffic sucks. I'm anywhere from 20-24 mpg.

My commute in Detroit is pretty good usually- takes me ~35 minutes to go 30 miles. Chicago traffic is no fun. I have yet to find a fast way to get around that city.

I am getting about 23 MPG around town.. meaning speeds mostly around 40 to 45 and stop lights .. etc. However.. I have a heavy foot and like to roar away when the light changes, so I know the car could do better if I wanted to simmer down.. but I am having too much fun... LOL

I will be curious to see what it gets on a highway trip where I am going 65 to 75 mph most of the time.

Those of you getting mid-30's mileage, is that your instant mileage? Im getting about an average of between 27 to a little over 28 per tank, and I live in southern california traffic, and yeah, I'm the weirdo goin 60mph pissin off everyone who wants to go 80+. I gone on six hour trips from Riverside, CA to Mammoth Lakes, CA and have gotten high 28's even after getting stuck in 2-3mph traffic for the first hour of the trip. I haven't noticed a difference going 55mph versus 60. The car seems to work too hard at 55. My in city mileage is crappy also. I still try to accelerate slower and shift at 2200rpm. I'm about try and shift at 2G for a while. The car seems like it can take it. The car actually has gotten more peppy with age. Has anyone else noticed that?

this might seem like a stupid question, but instant mileage? is there a readout on my pony that i just havnt found?? id love to see that, my old bimmer had a dial and it was cool but i didnt think the mustang did

but with me, i would guess like 20 somthing if im lucky
i drive pretty fast when i can otherwise its just stop and go traffic where im at
