Default Would a explorer/ranger 4.0L SOHC Supercharger work for a mustang

I have a v6 4.0 l mustang and I was curious if a supercharger for an explorer or a ranger with the same exact engine....a 4.0 L SOHC v6 colgne engine.....would work for a v6 mustang. Now I know the engine must be very similar if not the same. I know the tuning would be way different, but has anyone thought of the idea since the superchargers for rangers and explorers are way cheaper?! I am curious if any one has tried. i know the piping may be different too. But when I was looking up superchargers, the 06 v6 mustang uses an easton m90 blower which is the exact same as the 4.0L ranger/explorer supercharger uses. Any opinions???

the xcharger has been producing some really good numbers for your 4.0 you have to remember, approx 170 RWHP to over 300 RWHP, that is impressive!

I'm gonna have to say...ummm no... You'll be extremely lucky to get 299whp with full bolt ons and aggressive timing. The norm number is around 275-290whp.
