Default Duel Exhaust Question

I was talkin to =this guy I know about me puttin duel exhaust on my 06 mustang V6. I am looking at a true duel system from Pypes, and BBK shorty headers. He told me I should not run the duels because if I did I would be bottoming out all the time. I've been thinking about it and I do not understand what he is saying. The only way I see it affecting my ground clearance is if they bend it under something, but you NEVER do that. So if anyone else knows what the guy is talking about please explaine it to me. Also if you know a different reason why not to run true dules please let me know. Also my buddy has these things on his car to trick his O2 sensors, does anyone know that those are and if I can get them for the mustang, PLEASE let em know, thanks guys

the only reason i can think of not to do it is it doesn't give u hardly any HP. it's a whole lot of money just to have the good looks of another muffler sticking out the back of your car, also from what i hear the shorties will do pretty much nothing for our cars. As for ground clearance... not sure what he's what he's talkin about. maybe when u hit a really big bump u will scrape two mufflers instead of one.

Borla claims that just their single muffler gets into the double digit range, and that their dual system gets an average of 18hp and 14ft/lbs
You may not want to spend the money on the Borla system though, cause it is expensive.
In my opinion, it sounds the best because it reminds me of the old british and italian sports cars that had the I6's. It sounds more like a porsche to me too. Just my opinion though.

those do sound pretty good, flowmaster is still my favorite, i like the muscle car sound. ya the borlas are a little pricey. just search you tube for exhaust clips theres alot out there, and see what ya like, our car can sound really good with just a single axle back though. how strict are they on emissions where u live? long tube headers is also an option.

I personally just had a single flowmaster installed and im very impressed, it sounds great and i have noticed a nice increase in power, and Im going back now to get a custom made true dual put in for $225 which i feel is very worth it. The muffler man has done this to his own mustang and he recommened it and felt a true dual was worth it
