I'm not shooting any but i've heard a pretty good deal about it. First off you're not going to want to go over a 75 or 100 shot. Personally I wouldn't go over 75. You're going to need a wet kit and a window switch is highly recommended. I believe Zex has a kit out.
John (fishingjts) ran a 75hp shot for awhile and then got greedy and bumped up to a 125. I think he blew his motor on a 125 shot and that was the end of spray for him, he runs a Vortech S/C now. Live and learn.

black pony is right. 75-100. i would keep it at 75. u can run a 75 shot without doing anything else to ur motor. but the bigger shot u do the more parts u will hafta buy and it can get a bit expensive.

thanks for the useful info. My plan is to sucker punch it with 200. I want this V6 to sixty foot in the low 1.40's... I think a 95% power increase will wake it up? We were hitting the car below with 500hp in Michigan, when we won both NMRA classes... It rolled a 8.55 @ a buck 60. So this 4.0L will be going to V6 heaven very soon... My next motor will be the fast one. Thanks, Larz
If you're going to shoot a 200 shot on a stock 4.0 then I hope you dont like your rods because they're not going to be in working order for very much longer.

I don't exactly know what blow up is! We had total control of AFR & timing & we were using VP C16 on the nos, fuel side. We had total timing @ 28 & AFR on engine NA was 13:1. On the juice we had it around 10.5:1 & it was to lazy. so we added both fuel pressure on the NOS side bumped up the VE table above the 40% range & timed it to 18. put AFR around 12, & it sung like a bird. I will be jetting it back to 18 or 20 jets to save the rods(for now!)
My advise - if you do not have custom tuning capibilities, Extensive NOS experiance, Common sence - DO NOT TRY THIS. Ford will not cover 6 pistons with volcano holes in thim...Larz
Randy, whom I work with @ JEGS, who helps tune Troy Coughlins Twin turbo NHRA PRO MOD(240mph car) car was at the controlls... We tuned 126 cars in 2006... We know what the F is goin on... & we will be at the NJ NMRA 'walkn tall...' LARZ
