I travel over several passes a month and run from 5,000 to 11,000 ft several times in a single day and I've never had a problem. If anything, at the higher altitudes, you would run richer. If a problem were to crop up, it should do it at sea level if you go to the coasts. If the computer didn't compensate you'd run a tad lean down there but you'd gain a real boost in power with all that extra air. Folks that live on the coast probably only have to take a breath every couple of minutes.
