Ok...so I was looking at my exhaust pipes and I noticed that they are off a bit. I look at the brackets holding the pipes and its like a square piece of metal with a rubber material that holdes the pipe up. I am curious how i can adjust it any one have any experiences or know how to do it???

The rubber material off off your braket is the hanger. In order to adjust the pipes you'll need to loosen the clamp(s) at the joints and try(if you can) to spin them slightly or wiggle them to reposition and then retighten the clamp(s).
so the joint clamps on the exhaust pipe itself?! Cuz the pipe on the right seems to be hanging a bit low and I kinda want to raise it to match the left. So I loosen the clamp and move it? Is that right? I just want to verify to verify

If it's just a hanging low issue I would raise the hanger but there is probably no adjustment and it might not move the exhaust up anyway because the exhaust is so ridgid. Exhaust is never really an exact part on a car so if the pipe were bent a little off from the factory it could also cause it. Is it the tailpipe where it is easily seen?
yea..if you stand back and look at the exhaust. The left pipe is nice and tight bugging the bumper. The right pipe or tip for that matter is hanging lower than the left. So its kinda of by a little less than an inch. What do you suggest? Should I have the pipe bent, try it myself, or just leave the darn thing alone??? They are magnaflow catbacks

Well the question is is the left one too high or the right too low? You could bend it a little or have it bent if you take it off the car-you'd probably only need a very slight "bend" or have one of the bends bent a little more-just barely. I find aftermarket systems are notorious for their poor fitment problems, but what can you do, you know.
I agree bro. The left one is perfect...its the right side that is too low. Oh well I mean it is just slightly off I am just too picky I guess. My friends say its fine but I like my car ,and I am sure others feel me, to be perfect. Thanks

Yeah i'd just take it to the local muffler place if i were you and have them take care of it in a flash. wouldnt cost you really.
For a second...after reading "How do you straighten out the exhaust pipes?" I thought this might be some sort of a joke thread with something like "I really want to get straight pipes...how can i do this?"
hahaha! No no...I was really serious. But yea I think I will just take it to a muffler shop and have it done right. I mean I can def do it, but a proffesional shop will be best!

I have magnaflow duals also, it was hell getting them to sit right and to be even. I had to have a muffler shop weld them into place. Now they sit right, but the hangers aren't perfect, so I can hear the exhaust moving around over big bumps, its really annoying, am thinking about getting another system altogether, like Borla. Or maybe ill just try new hangers.
I don't know what muffler shop you are going to, but if they have to raise your car, remove the pipes, bend them and reinstall them, they are going to charge you something!
