Default MotorSportPartz Headers?

I just recieved my new headers I bought off ebay in the mail. I got them from a company called MotorSportPartz and I only paid $70 for them plus shipping. It was $184 buy it now or best offer. Somehow or another I offered $70 and they took it so I saved a lot of money.

Anyways my question is does anyone have these headers on their mustang? I know they arent a top brand name like JBA but after hearing how that headers make little or no difference on a V6 I figured it couldnt hurt to just go cheaper and still get the better engine compartment look since they are stainless steel. I was wondering though if these headers will make my car sound better since I have true duel exhaust with an h pipe. Im sure though the better airflow will go well with the procharger I have on. I will put them on tomorrow probably so Ill let you guys know how the cheaper ways looks and sounds

Those actually don't look half bad. Should change your sound a bit.

Yea for that price I couldnt beat it. I mean do you think there is that much of a difference between those headers and the name brands?

You'd need to look inside at the quality of the welds for extra beads of metal, etc.

I began putting the headers on but im confused with all these extra bolts. Do I need to remove the old studs to use these bolts or can I just leave the old studs on and disregard the bolts? Also for the driver side header that has the sensor on what is the easiest way to get that one lose?

Well I just got done putting my headers on. The passenger side was easy but the drivers side was a pain. It definately made a better change soundwise as well as look in my engine compartment. My only concern now is that the headers went from looking a polished silver to a shiny gold after be ran for about 10 mins. Is that just because of them being hot or will stay that gold looking color? Other then that I am very satified with them.

They may stay that color. I've seen some turn a bluish-gold. Are they coated?

Still, for that price, they don't seem too bad.

Well so far I put about a hundred miles on them and they seem to be staying at a somewhat goldish silver color but either way it still looks 100 times better then the crappy factory ones. Definately worth what I paid though, they made my car sound a bit better and my gas mileage went up some too!

Then I would call that a successful install
