Question Fabing A Cai & Tuning For It?

Does Anyone Know About Tuning For A Cai That Is Fabed Up. Like Maf Curve Should I Go Into The (+) Side Or (-), Or Just I Adjust Or Lean Or Rich ? & If Yes Any Idea How Much To Try At 1st? I Have A 4.0 With Auto, With A Diablo Chip.

Not something easily done. Getting a smooth MAF curve might be tough and it's not something you could adjust for with the handheld. You'd need to have the tuning software.

I installed the jtl industion tune & fabed my cai and its working great just to let people now. Once I installed it , seem to be a little rich but after a few days & starts she's working better than every & I still have to fab up a heat sheild. Fuel mpg is good or better than every.

my bad, i read that wrong. no you are fine with what you have. the only reason the tune was for 91 was some people have a hard time finding higher octain gas.

Why are you fooling with saving $200 by fabbing up a CAI and trying to build a tune yourself on an engine that will cost $3000+ if you screw it up. Are you a government contractor?

Cause there is no difference in my intake & the one u buy for $300.00 just I dont have a name to download the tune. I used a jtl tune & it works great from +30 to -40. plus I have an extra 300 for other mod's. I understand what your saying thats why I didn't adjust my fuel air ratio. But i knew it should be close to other intakes.
