theres this open air duct under the drivers side, that always releases hot air...can i cover it up with something, and if i do will it cause other problems with the engine temp or pressure...its just too freakin hot...its not apparent when the ac is on but with the windows down, you just feel this hear coming from underneath...what can i do? any suggestions?

There are some other threads on this from awhile back. Can't remember what the solution was, but you're not alone.
