Hello

I have a stock Shaker 1000 in my mustang 2005 v6, 2 dr coupe.

Is it possible to change this one out with a kenwood DNX7100, and what do i need? I bet i will need some kind of installation kit, and some wiring?

Anyone done this before?

i didnt have the shaker system but i believe switching the deck shouldnt be any different except u will just hafta hook the amp hook ups into ur kenwood. all u need is a dash kit for ur car. u can get one pretty much anywhere u buy car stereos. a wiring harness will make everything alot easier. but if u know what ur doing u can just start clipping wires and hook it up that way.

I will be putting a dvd in with in a year or so but you will need a wiring harness if you want your door subs to work. Trust me just get the dash kit and harness and save your self any possible problems you could run into. Do it right the first time and it won't turn into a massive gong show
