what's the difference between 2005 Mustang V6 & 2005 Mustang GT?
hey guys, hows it go. anyway I just wanted to know is there any difference between the front bumper covers on the 05 gt and the 05 v6 stangs. because the I like the chin spoiler that fit the gt bumper so i was just wondering what the difference was between the two bumper covers. if there was any. thanks in advance.

There is a difference. If I remember right, the GT grille is slightly taller than the v6 and if you just change the bumper cover there will be a gap. That's why in catalogs they always tell you to buy the grille and bumper cover together for conversions.

but is the bottom edge of the bumpers the same on both the gt and the v6? I guess what i'm asking is will a chin spoiler for the gt fit on the bottom of the v6 bumper?

I doubt it because in mail order catalogs and online stores they always specify if it's for a GT or V6 for the chin spoilers. I don't know what the difference is at the bottom edge but there must be one.

No it won't... at least not without a lot of fabrication. Some have managed to make the GT-500 chin spoiler fit.
Yeah, I was wondering this same thing. I would say that your best bet would be to shop around and find a similar chin spoiler that fits the V6. I found a great one on Cervinis.com for around $220.
I'm not completely sure that it fits the V6, but it doesn't say it only fits the GT, so I would assume it's worth a try.
Also, try reading over your posts and making sure they sound right before submitting them.
