Now that I have my car back and have some of the diminished value money coming to me, my son and I headed over to Mustangs Unlimited to pick up a CAI. I decided to go with the BBK CAI since it did not require a tune. That is added to the FRPP muffler that was installed as a replacement for the factory one that got scratched in the accident.

Right off the bat the CAI really is a great improvement to the over all throttle response of the car. Just pulling out the drive way I can feel a difference. It also seems to give a much smoother feel to the car.

Next item will the Tune. It has to be ordered.

The best part of the entire experience was that my son and I were able to dothe work ourselves,with him doing the bulk of the wrench/screw driver work. Just for that it was well worth the time and effort.

I have always liked the color. It kind of stands out against all the red and black ones that I have seen where we live.

I see you live in College Park. I used to live in Silver Springs. Actually we lived between Burtonsville and Colesville about 25 years ago. Our neighborhood was surround by cornfields back then.
