Default Aerocatch hood latches

Wondering if anyone has ever installed these instead of the standard hood pins and cables. It looks like these would keep the hood from floating but I don't know if there's a location under the front where the pin could mount. I'm going to be ordering a Cervini 1171 hood in the next couple of months (finally got enough rock chips in the nose to justify it) and I was looking for something to keep it down at 120+ mph (passing on 2 lane highway) that wouldn't crater the hood like the cables would if it popped up. This system would keep it from popping up altogether.

dude, ive been in an s197 doing 160 and the hood didnt pop, your factory catch is fine, youve gotta think, how often are you really going to be doing 120 for long periods of time, especially with today's gas prices.
