I plan on ordering everything in maybe 2-3 months, maybe sooner, maybe later, with school coming up and all that. Here is what I was planning on buying, all from Stage 3 Motorsports because they offer the financing, but if need be I can get parts from other places.
-Cervini C-series body kit, full
-Roush CAI
-Diablosport Predator tuner
-Steeda Steel Strut Tower Brace
-Steeda Sport springs
-Vortech Supercharger, intercooled (Do I need to get new engine parts or will it run on the stock engine? Ive read both sides and Id rather hear from you guys)
Is there anything I am missing to get a huge upgrade from what I have now? As for tires, what should I look for if I want high speed graded tires, and would I be able to put 19 or 20 inch rims while keeping those tires? I am trying to build a car that handles as well as possible on a realistic budget, while also having enough power to run with GTs and the like. There arent any tracks around here ( I think), so im just looking for something that would be a wicked fun daily driver, while looking great too.
The C series is a very nice kit with the exception of the side exhaust... unless you plan on never going over a speed bump. I too wanted the pipes to shoot out the side of my pony but later found out that side exhaust is not feasible on the S197.
Im not sure if the strut tower bar will fit over a supercharger or not... check your clearance before you order.
Have you looked into the X Charger at all? Its a really decent supercharger that you can order with a custom tune.

Reason: goofed up
Have you considered a turbo kit? I here they're really kicking a$$ on the V6's. And to reiterate stlwagon- don't waste any money on a cold air intake if you're going to use forced induction because they all use different intakes and most- if not all- come with one for their specific fit.
So if I plan on getting a supercharger, dont bother getting a CAI? Gotcha. And yeah I have been looking at the X Charger, but alot of people say that it feels naturally aspirated, I want something with alot of kick and that beautiful air sucking sound. Does the Vortech need/can get a tune?

Would a Diablosport Predator allow me to tune it correctly? Or should I get a dyno tune? The problem with going with a dyno is that the closet one is like 10 hours away

hmmm... CT is 10hrs from RI?
I can think of one in Windsor CT... Ultimate Edge Performance
and one in New Haven... Mongillo Motors.

Wow! Thats not bad at all! How much would you charge for a dyno tune? And that 1/4 mile test sounds great too, is that a different price? Do you install the superchargers too? Now I know that I have a company that close to me! Thats great
So should I even bother buying a tuner, if im getting a dyno tune? Or do you guys do like aggressive 93 octane tunes as well?

We are a complete tuning and installation facility, and we specialize in forced induction so yes we do it all sell them install them and tune them, not just superchargers.
I charge $450-500 for a custom dyno tune.
If I am going to be doing that no need to purchase a hand held.
I dont name my tunes 93 or 91, I tune for the mods made to the car for the optimum HP and TQ it can make based on what octane fuel you will be running and what you plan on doing with the car, racing, weekend warrior or daily driver etc.

If you are going with the vortech ho kit, it will come with a Diablosport from Vortech with a tune all ready for the kit. Theorheticaly it should run pretty decent with the vortech installed and the canned tune from the company, but a dyno will give you the ability to squeeze out those last few ponies.

+1 There are a lot of great kits on the market today, its pretty hard to "go wrong" with one particular choice.
Everyone kit has their PROS and CONS
If I may make a suggestion figure out what type of forced induction you would like to go with ie: turbo or supercharger centrifugal or roots/screw style and then make a list of what you like about each kit and why.
Use sound, looks, cost, ease of installation(if being self installed)
and rpm where power is desired, what are you using the car for daily driver weekend warrior and possible future mods to help choose model of what ever brand you decide to go with because all of the kits on the market today weather it be a turbo or blower will way exceed the limits of the stock rotating assembly.
I hope that help a little,just my 2 cents.

+1,000,000 A tuner with the kit will get you in the ballpark, but a custom tune is most definitely where its at, the tune from the kit will be safe very safe and by no way optimal, STFT,LTFT,Maf transfer function,ETC tables,Spark and fuel curves etc...etc..all need to be really "tweaked" to get the most out of your set up.
