Diablo Sport wrote me a custom 93 C&L tune for my v6 manual. Mike said he wrote it according to my bolt ons, to be honest I'm not even sure if he wrote it according to my exact specifics.

I wasn't too impressed with the performance. It is real nice when I shift gears. But lets say I'm on the highway doing 40 mph and in 4th gear. I hit the pedal all the way down and it doesn't go very fast, sometimes it isn't very responsive at all. Any one ever drive a big ultility van? You floor the pedal and the engine doesn't respond until 5 seconds later... It feels like that, but not as bad.
I have to drop it down to third gear, then hit the pedal and it goes real fast. Did I just get a bad tune file or something?

Also, what am I missing with a Bamachips custom tune compared to the tunes written at Diablo Sport?

4th rear really wont have a lot of power when you punch it doing 40. Dropping down a gear always helps!

yes i know, but it's worse than before. Worse than stock. It was much better in 4th with the Diablo canned tunes for the stock air box (before I put on the intake)

no, i'm not even sure what gears are, I don't want to spend any more money. Muffler, intake, tune, suspension, and headers are enough for me

Might be worth a call to Bamachips and have him write you a tune.
