As i posted in the SINGLE Gt. muffler thread, I got my Gt. take offs in the mail today. I am really starting to consider going duel, but is it really worth it? It seems like it might get pretty expensive and not really give me much more gain. One major reason I want to go duel is because of the looks of it. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

Performance gains will be pretty much none. Sightly better sound. Going duel is purely appearance. Unless maybe you are planing doing major mods to your engine.

If you're going to go with dual exhaust on your V6, do something super dope like the side-exit Roush setup. You'll get a big performance boost in the sex appeal department.

Personally I don't like that for stangs.

The sound of duals is definitely better, as is the look. As for performance, I think the pipe size is too big to maintain adequate exhaust flow velocity with a 4.0, or even a 4.6. This might compromise low and mid-range torque, but if so I don't notice it.

Awww....stop picking. There's nothing wrong with "super dope". I think the term sounds gnarly and tubular (watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my boy last night).

I just got dual exhausts on my V6 this past week. Went to the local ford dealership bodyshop asked if they had any spare GT bumpers they said yes and sold it to me for $300 painted and installed. Took it to the Meineke and put true Flowmaster duals on with tips for $450. Your looking at about $700-800 but it looks amazing and every penny.

All I can say is ... that's super dope dude, thanks for the info.

I went with the stock v6 bumper, made a cutout, and installed a pypes catback system. It really sounds knarly and super-dope. and looks pretty fly too.
